2020 Global Satellite Servicing Forum

October 28, 2020 - October 29, 2020 UTC-7

  • « Hypersonic Weapons
  • 36th Space Symposium »

SWF and CONFERS are pleased to invite you to attend the 2020 Global Satellite Servicing Forum (GSSF) (https://www.satelliteconfers.org/gssf-2020/), being organized by The Consortium for Execution of Rendezvous and Servicing Operations (CONFERS). SWF is a member of the CONFERS Secretariat.

On-orbit satellite servicing (OOS) and maintenance capabilities (including manufacturing and assembly) are emerging as the cornerstone of future commercial and civil space activities. The third annual GSSF is the premier annual event for discussing industry-led operational standards, technology, market, and policy developments in this critical area of space activities. It will be held October 28 and 29, 2020 from 0900 to 1330 Eastern Daylight Time, in an entirely virtual format.

Some of the topics to be addressed by sessions and speakers include:

  • Results from recent servicing missions
  • Government and private sector partnership strategies
  • Investment sector perspectives on on-orbit servicing
  • The business of active debris removal
  • Satellite servicing in the roadmap to on-orbit infrastructure
  • Standard interfaces to enable satellite servicing
  • A Virtual Exhibit Hall of OOS related companies

And more to come!
