C-COM to Showcase Defense and Government SATCOM Innovations at Small Cap Growth Conference

January 27, 2026

On Tuesday, January 27, 2026, Ottawa-based C-COM Satellite Systems Inc. (TSXV: CMI; OTCQB: CYSNF) announced that its President and CEO, Dr. Leslie Klein, will present at the Small Cap Growth Virtual Investor Conference on February 5, 2026.

The presentation will focus on the company’s strategic expansion into defense and government sectors, highlighting the rapid deployment capabilities of its iNetVu® mobile auto-deploying antenna systems.

Technical Performance and Product Portfolio

C-COM’s proprietary auto-acquisition controller technology allows for satellite pointing in less than one minute with a single button press. The company’s hardware suite includes:

  • Manpack Systems: The iNetVu® MP-130-MOT is a 130cm carbon fiber, 3-axis motorized system that is airline transportable and assembles in minutes. It has been successfully deployed for remote edge connectivity in challenging environments like the Australian outback.
  • Flyaway Antennas: Portable units used by the Peruvian Air Force for emergency communications.
  • Phased-Array Development: C-COM continues the development of its electronically steerable Ka-band phased-array antenna, a technology that was recently granted a 12th U.S. patent in August 2025 for its “Antenna in Package” (AiP) design.

Strategic Context and Market Position

C-COM has sold more than 11,000 antenna systems in over 100 countries, establishing a robust global footprint in vertical markets such as disaster management, oil and gas, and cellular backhaul. The company’s recent focus on the “Proliferated Warfighter” trend aligns with increasing Department of Defense (DoD) demand for commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions that can integrate with LEO, MEO, and GEO constellations. By providing secure, reliable connectivity that is vendor-neutral, C-COM positions its iNetVu® brand as a critical link in modern mobile SATCOM architectures.

Timeline for Investor Engagement

Dr. Klein’s presentation is scheduled for Thursday, February 5, at 10:30 AM ET. Investors can access the live webcast via the Virtual Investor Conferences portal. Following the event, an archived version will be available for on-demand viewing, providing further insights into the company’s 2026 roadmap for modular, conformal flat-panel technologies.
