The strategic enhancement of its sales and market growth organization is designed to address the increasing complexity of modern satellite missions, particularly those involving multi-orbit constellations and advanced electronic warfare.
The Texas-based manufacturer is positioning itself to better serve a global customer base that includes major defense contractors and commercial satellite operators. By adding seasoned expertise to its go-to-market structure, the company aims to solidify its reputation for delivering configurable and highly reliable antenna systems across the terrestrial landscape.
Strategic Appointment for Long-Term Growth
As the cornerstone of this initiative, the company has appointed industry veteran Steve Richeson to the newly created role of Vice President of Growth. Richeson is tasked with leading business expansion through strategic alliances with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners and top-tier system integrators. His mandate includes advancing initiatives that will sustain long-term growth across both the commercial and defense sectors.
Richeson brings over three decades of engineering and executive experience to the team, having held leadership positions at firms such as Mission Microwave, Advantech Wireless, Harris Corporation, and Scientific-Atlanta. Notably, he played a vital role in the global expansion and eventual acquisition of Mission Microwave. A Registered Professional Engineer and Senior Member of the IEEE, Richeson holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from Georgia State University.
Internal Leadership Advancements
In tandem with the new appointment, Sat-Lite Technologies has promoted Chris Callow to Vice President of Sales. The promotion recognizes Callow’s extensive contributions to the company’s success and his deep relationships within the satellite industry. In his elevated role, Callow will continue to lead the sales organization in providing high-performance solutions to global partners.
Callow’s expertise has been instrumental in the company’s adoption of modern RF technologies.
