Anywaves Launches U.S. Federal Subsidiary

December 2, 2025

Anywaves, a global provider of high-performance space antennas and RF payloads, has announced the formation of a new, U.S.-based entity: Anywaves Federal.

Headquartered in Austin, Texas, the new subsidiary will specifically target U.S. government and defense customers.

Nicolas Hine, General Manager of Anywaves US, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Anywaves Federal.

Strategic Austin Location

The decision to locate Anywaves Federal in Austin leverages Texas’s rapid growth as a national center for commercial space and defense innovation. Texas has demonstrated a long-term commitment to the sector, notably through the establishment of the Texas Space Commission in 2023.

Anywaves Federal will operate from Capital Factory in downtown Austin, a key venue for connecting technology innovators with U.S. defense leadership and decision-makers on national security challenges.

“We are happy to welcome Anywaves to the City of Austin and its growing international and aerospace companies,” said Ed Latson, CEO of Opportunity Austin.

Commitment to U.S. Federal Missions

The creation of Anywaves Federal, following the recent launch of Anywaves US (also based in Austin), underscores Anywaves’ commitment to providing its advanced space antennas and RF payloads to the U.S. federal market.

Under CEO Nicolas Hine, Anywaves Federal plans to establish a local industrial footprint in Texas, including:

  • Establishing production lines.
  • Developing testing facilities.
  • Creating a local recruitment pipeline.

“We created Anywaves Federal because we believe in the power of sovereign capability combined with commercial agility,” stated Nicolas Hine, CEO of Anywaves Federal. “By anchoring our defense-focused operations in Texas, we are positioning ourselves to serve U.S. government customers with unmatched performance, while investing in American industry and talents.”

This launch marks a further step in Anywaves’ evolution as a multinational enterprise, positioning the company to support mission-critical U.S. government and defense programs.
