
SpaceX’s Falcon 9 will launch a batch of 29 smallsats to join the Starlink mega-constellation. The sendoff will occur at Launch Complex 39A Kennedy Space Center, Florida, from 7:01 – 11:01 PM EST.
According to weather officials, there’s a 99% chance of favorable weather conditions at the time of the launch. The forecast calls for a temperature of 71°F, clear skies, 5% cloud cover and a wind speed of 4mph.
A live webcast of this mission will begin about five minutes prior to liftoff, which you can watch on X @SpaceX. You can also watch the webcast on the X TV app.
This will be the 23rd flight for the first stage B1080 booster supporting this mission, which previously launched Ax-2, Euclid, Ax-3, CRS-30, SES ASTRA 1P, NG-21, and 16 Starlink missions. Following stage separation, the first stage will land on the Just Read the Instructions droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. Falcon 9 Block 5 booster was first used for the Axiom Space Mission 2 Crew Dragon mission.
