
On a sunny Thursday SpaceX’s Falcon 9 sent off 28 Starlink smallsats from Group 10-20 at 8:29 a.m. EDT (1229 GMT) to add to the increasing Starlink constellation from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station’s Space Launch Complex 40. Photos captured by Satnews.
“Deployment of 28 Starlink satellites confirmed,” confirmed SpaceX on the social media network X.
The weather conditions were perfect as were earlier forecast: According to weather officials, there’s a 90% chance of favorable weather conditions at the time of the launch. Officials are monitoring weather conditions with concerns related to Cumulus Cloud Rule. The forecast calls for a temperature of 80°F, clear skies, 0% cloud cover and a wind speed of 5mph.
One hour and 4 minutes later, the broadband internet relays were deployed into low Earth orbit.

The Falcon 9 1st stage B1085 landed on ASDS JRTI after its 10th flight. Booster B1085 last launched 08/14/2025 and has seen 10 successful launches and landings. Booster to be flown during the Crew-9 mission.
