
SpaceX’s Falcon 9 will launch Starlink Group 12-24 smallsats on Tuesday at 6:03 AM – 10:03 AM PDT totaling $69.75 million. The launch of a batch of satellites for the Starlink mega-constellation will take place at Space Launch Complex 40, Cape Canaveral SFS.
According to weather officials, there’s a 90% chance of favorable weather conditions at the time of the launch. Officials are monitoring weather conditions with concerns related to Cumulus Cloud Rule, Surface Electric Fields Rule. The forecast calls for a temperature of 79°F, scattered clouds, 33% cloud cover and a wind speed of 10mph.
The Falcon 9 first stage will attempt to land on ASDS JRTI after its flight. The booster serial number is unknown at this time.
