
SpaceX is targeting Monday, May 12 for a Falcon 9 launch of 26 Starlink smallsats to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. Liftoff is targeted for 6:15 p.m. PT, with backup opportunities available until 7:08 p.m. PT. If needed, additional launch opportunities are also available on Tuesday, May 13 starting at 6:13 p.m. PT.
A live webcast of this mission will begin about five minutes prior to liftoff, which you can watch on X @SpaceX. You can also watch the webcast on the new X TV app.
This will be the sixth flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched NROL-126, Transporter-12, SPHEREx, NROL-57, and one Starlink mission. Following stage separation, the first stage will land on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship, which will be stationed in the Pacific Ocean.
There is the possibility that residents of Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura counties may hear one or more sonic booms during the launch, but what residents experience will depend on weather and other conditions.
SpaceX ready for Saturday launch of Starlink Group 15-4 smallsats

Saturday’s Starlink launch into low Earth orbit of Group 15-4 smallsats is scheduled for 6:15 PM PDT from Vandenberg in California.
The weather forecast is scattered showers and thunderstorms. Low 73F. Winds SSE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50%.
The Falcon 9’s first stage will attempt to land on one of two East Coast ASDS after its flight. The booster serial number is unknown at this time.
