World Teleport Assocation’s 2025 Teleport Awards recipients

At the Teleport Awards Luncheon on March 11,hosted by Network Innovations Advanced Networks, neXat and Calian, WTA announced the recipients of the 2025 Teleport Awards for Excellence:

2025 Independent Teleport Operator of the Year

Calian Pacific Teleports (Canada) – Calian Pacific Teleports provides critical satellite communication services to clients in more than a dozen countries and territories. Their customers range from supporting critical life-saving communication efforts to high-speed broadband internet reaching the world, connecting the U.S. and Asia-Pacific regions with the rest of the world on high bandwidth optical networks. Customers rely on Calian Pacific Teleports when they can’t afford to fail. Calian Pacific Teleports has five active teleports, three teleports in Hawaii, one in Guam and one in Saskatchewan, and has just broken ground on a fourth teleport in Hawaii.

2025 Hybrid Teleport Operator of the Year

MEASAT (Malaysia) – MEASAT is a premium satellite communications services provider in the Asia-Pacific region. Their MEASAT-3b and MEASAT-3d satellites at the prime 91.5°E hotslot facilitate the distribution of Direct-To-Home TV channels to over 20 million viewers across the region. As Malaysia’s leading satellite solutions provider, MEASAT offers a wide range of customized services. From cellular backhaul and corporate networks to high-speed broadband internet, MEASAT caters to the needs of diverse clients, including government, telecommunications companies, maritime and oil & gas industries, enterprises and small and medium-sized businesses.

2025 Teleport Technology of the Year

neXat Platform by neXat (Belgium) – Trusted by operators and intergovernmental organizations worldwide, neXat is the first satellite-specific OSS/BSS to successfully unite the management of satcom services, customers and networks on one virtual platform. It seamlessly integrates operators’ different hubs, simplifying operations, and brings multiple operational and business support systems together in one place to save operators time and money. neXat can also be used to offer customers new and better services, including improved traffic shaping, bandwidth optimization, VNO services and more.

Also at the Luncheon, WTA honored Adam Godwin, Head of Satellite at Telstra International (United Kingdom) as the 2025 Teleport Executive of the Year. With a strong focus on customer experience and building value for partners, Adam leads the wholesale business to grow global satellite customers such as SpaceX, Amazon Kuiper, Telesat, OneWeb, Intelsat, SES and Inmarsat with major deployments in Asia Pacific. Prior to this role, Adam took charge of Telstra’s wholesale business in EMEA, with responsibility for developing and driving the business strategy, as well as wholesale, satellite, and OTT customer relationships.
