KRYTAR Announces Compact, 2-Way MLDD Power Divider

January 21, 2025

KRYTAR, Inc. has introduced a new, 2-way, Power Divider that offers high performance over the broadband frequency range of 2.0 to 20.0 GHz (S- through K-Bands) in a compact package.

The new power divider offers the ultimate solution for emerging designs and test and measurement applications including wireless communications, radar, SATCOM and more.

KRYTAR’s technological advances provide excellent operating performance of this new 2-way unit. Model 6020200 covers the full frequency range from 2.0 to 20.0 GHz with >19.0 dB Isolation and ±0.4 dB of maximum Amplitude Tracking, with maximum Phase Tracking is ±8 degrees.

The 2-way divider exhibits Insertion Loss of <1.2 dB across the full frequency range. Maximum VSWR is 1.5. Input power rating is 10 watts with 2:1 load VSWRs. Units with tighter Amplitude and Phase Tracking specifications can be supplied. Contact the factory with needed requirements.

KRYTAR has used its proprietary design to produce a wide assortment of matched-line directional dividers (MLDD) with ultra-high performance over a broadband frequency range.

KRYTAR MLDD 2-way power dividers are a new class of patented directional devices. KRYTAR’s new Model 6020200 power divider offers the widest frequency coverage in a single package on the market and provides superior performance.

The power divider is a compact package measuring just 2.25 inches (L) x 1.00 inches (W) x 0.52 inches (H), weighs only 2-ounces, and comes with standard 3.5-mm coaxial female connectors.

KRYTAR’s extended family of 2-Way Power Dividers offer solutions for many ultra-broadband applications including electronic warfare (EW), mmWave, 5G NR (New Radio), Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E, SATCOM, radar, MIMO (Multiple-Input and Multiple-Output) radio links, signal monitoring and measurement, antenna beamforming, and EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) testing environments. Many KRYTAR products can meet the rigorous demands of space and thermal vacuum applications.

KRYTAR also offers complete engineering services for custom designs that meet or exceed critical performance and/or packaging specifications. A data sheet with specifications and package outline drawing is available via KRYTAR’s Web site.
