Orbit Communication Systems Ltd., (TASE: ORBI) gained a $3 million contract with a prominent European integrator earlier this month to supply the company’s advanced OceanTRx 4MIL satellite communication systems for a NATO navy — the systems will be installed on military maritime platforms and will be delivered during 2025.

The OceanTRx 4MIL Quad-Band SATCOM system, recently launched by Orbit, is based on the proven OceanTRx4 system but with advanced features adapted for military platforms. It supports a variety of antenna configurations with a diameter of 1.15 meters, operating in Ku, X, Ka Commercial and Ka Military frequencies, including a unique feature for simultaneous operation of multiple frequencies for global activities. Designed for quick and convenient installation, maintenance and upgrade, the OceanTRx4 MIL provides defense customers with a combination of exceptional RF performance and availability.

Daniel Eshchar, CEO of Orbit, said, “This order contributes to the ongoing growth of Orbit’s backlog since the beginning of the year, and we are proud of another order from a leading integrator in Europe for our systems to be delivered to a NATO navy. The OceanTRx 4MIL, which is part of our proven family of naval military systems, will enable the customer to work with four different frequencies for maximum operational flexibility. The contract highlights Orbit’s technological leadership in satellite communication systems for naval military platforms and prominent navies and demonstrates to our commitment to continue our growth as a leading company in its field.”
