On Thursday, November 14 at 8:21 a.m. ET, Falcon 9 launched 24 Starlink satellites, to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
This was the 18th flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously mPOWER-C, OneWeb2, Intelsat 40e, Digital Globe 2, Turksat-6A, Eutelsat 36X, Ovzon-3, CRS-26, and now 10 Starlink missions.
No Central Florida sonic booms. The Space Force’s 45th Weather Squadron forecast called for 85% odds of “go for launch” weather during the launch window.
SpaceX to launch Starlink group 6-68 smallsats on Thursday
On Thursday, November 14, SpaceX will launch a batch of Starlink Group 6-68 smallsats 2:33 AM – 6:33 AM PST from Space Launch Complex 40, Cape Canaveral, Florida.
The booster, not yet known, will fly on a southeast trajectory from CCSFS. A batch of Starlink v2 Mini satellites will be deployed to LEO, while the booster will be recovered on Just Read the Instructions in the Atlantic.
The forecast calls for a temperature of 74°F, overcast clouds, 100% cloud cover and a wind speed of 14mph.
