October 17, 2024

Viasat, Inc. (NASDAQ: VSAT) is working with CYSEC under its ELEVATE program to provided reliable, state-of-the-art, cybersecurity tools for SATCOM.

CYSEC is a pioneering cybersecurity company based in France and Switzerland and specializes in securing the space internet.

Recognizing ever-evolving cyber threats in the industry, CYSEC provides high-performance cybersecurity solutions to enhance the robustness, performance, confidentiality and integrity of the fast-growing space asset market. The company’s portfolio includes three main software product lines: ARCA SATCOM VPN, ARCA Trusted OS, and ARCA SATLINK. The company’s products are designed to provide comprehensive security solutions for the data communication and operational integrity of critical infrastructures.

As a member of ELEVATE, CYSEC will now have access to Viasat’s growing partner ecosystem and work closely with the company to develop custom cybersecurity solutions for the satellite communications industry.

ELEVATE is a growth program, ecosystem and marketplace for ambitious IoT solution providers, connectivity wholesalers, enablers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) who want to work with Viasat to use its network and footprint to scale new heights. ELEVATE’s marketplace can help companies attract new customers in locations without reliable connectivity, or those which have mission-critical connectivity needs.  For customers, it gives access to a broad choice of satellite connectivity and IoT solutions developed by a range of providers to enhance the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of their businesses.

CYSEC is also behind CYSAT, Europe’s largest event dedicated to space cybersecurity, demonstrating the company’s commitment to advancing the field and fostering collaboration between industry leaders.

James Grisbrook, Senior Director, Marketing Communications, Viasat Enterprise, said, “Our ELEVATE program is continuing to grow with a huge range of technology specialists, but CYSEC is expanding its presence in the critical field of cybersecurity. It is great to have them on board to collaborate with our ecosystem and continue to drive progress.”

Yacine Felk, COO & Co-founder of CYSEC, said, “CYSEC is thrilled to join Viasat’s ELEVATE program, bringing our revolutionary ARCA SATCOM VPN software technology to the forefront. Our solution not only encrypts and accelerates data traffic but also boosts throughput by an average of 30% without added latency. This breakthrough unlocks numerous new use cases for our customers.”
