GomSpace + ST Engineering Satellite Systems sign a collaboration agreement

October 15, 2024

GomSpace has engaged in a new industrial Collaboration Agreement with ST Engineering Satellite Systems to explore and expand business opportunities for the small satellites and micro satellites market — this partnership comes as part of the company’s continued efforts to strengthen the firm’s presence in Asia, following previous successes with a major strategic project in Singapore.

Building on the momentum from earlier achievements, GomSpace sees this new collaboration with ST Engineering Satellite Systems as a key step toward enhancing the footprint in one of the world’s most promising markets. ST Engineering Satellite Systems’ expertise will complement GomSpace’s existing capabilities and industrial setup, allowing for a more comprehensive approach to serving customers. Together, the two companies will work to offer innovative solutions for the new space industry.

“We are proud to be partnering with ST Engineering Satellite Systems as we look to capitalize on the strong foundation of both companies,” said Carsten Drachmann, CEO at GomSpace. “Our previous success in the region has given us valuable insights, and this collaboration with ST Engineering Satellite Systems opens up new possibilities for growth, technological innovation, and customer engagement. On a personal note, Singapore is close to my heart and am very happy once again to work with old friends and colleagues”.
