Teledyne to showcase products at upcoming Space Symposium

Teledyne will be showcasing various products and solutions at The Space Symposium, which occurs from April 8 to 11 at The Broadmoor, Colorado Springs, USA.

As part of the company’s presence at The Space Symposium, the Teledyne Space Imaging team will present its bespoke range of CMOS sensors and infrared detectors, as well as its Lightning Mapper prototype, developed as part of a Phase A Study funded by NASA and on public display for the first time. 

The company will be available to discuss the firm’s range of best-in-class infrared and visible imaging focal plane arrays (FPAs) for use in astronomy, EO and other scientific and defense applications.   These FPAs include the GeoSnap family of highly flexible digital devices current operational in many space-based, earth observation applications and the HAWAII family of extremely lower power, high sensitivity FPAs.  HAWAII family high performance FPAs are used in most of the world’s leading astronomical telescopes, both on the ground and in space.

Teledyne will also use the event to showcase its CHROMA-D 18 HgCdTe detector, which provides detection from ultra-violet to long-wave infrared, along with an early model of its Front-End Electronics that is currently under development for ESA’s TRUTHS mission. In addition, the Teledyne Space Imaging’s technical team will also conduct demonstrations of the CIS120 Demo Kit by appointment. Their product line includes TO 5 and 1/2 size crystal can electromechanical relays, coaxial switches, and switch blocks. These products can be custom-designed and manufactured to meet specific performance requirements. Teledyne Relays also offers a complete range of standard, off-the-shelf, high-reliability switches that offers significant cost benefits to our customers, while meeting the most critical requirements for various space applications including scientific research, meteorological and communication satellites.

The 39th Space Symposium takes place this April in Colorado Springs, USA. It has established a reputation for being the must-attend space industry event, attracting more than 10,000 key decision-makers and leaders across the international space industry every year. Delegates can enjoy engaging presentations and discussions about the latest innovations in space technology, as well as an exhibition, panel discussions and networking opportunities.
