Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced the AWS Space Accelerator: India, a technical, business and mentorship opportunity designed to foster India-based startups focused on space technology and accelerate their development, with support from T-Hub and Minfy.

The 14-week dynamic program will propel innovation in India’s space economy, which is poised to reach $44 billion by 2033. This program follows the MoU AWS signed with IRSO and IN-SPACe in September of 2023, both of which express commitment to the growth of the Indian space industry.
The program is open to both early-stage and mature startups based in India whose missions support the space sector, who need a technology platform for their ideas, and are looking to accelerate their growth and investment opportunities. Applications are now open, with anticipated program kickoff in April of 2024.
During the 14-week program, the selected startups will learn about space domain technologies and applications, including how to leverage space data and build scalable solutions using cloud computing, data analytics, and machine learning, including the potential to apply generative artificial intelligence (AI)—allowing them to rapidly experiment at a low-cost, and enhance their solutions before launching and scaling them.
Selected startups will receive:
- Up to $100,000 in AWS credits
- Guidance from experts at ISRO, IN-SPACe, and AWS
- Business and technology support from T-Hub and Minfy, an AWS Premier Partner
