SpacePath has announced the appointment of Eric Schmidt as Vice President for Sales and Marketing, North America.
With his in-depth experience of SATCOM markets, Eric brings a wealth of industry expertise to SpacePath. Previous responsibilities span marketing, sales and business development at both established and start-up companies, including 13 years in sales at Comtech and 12 years in engineering and marketing at CPI. Eric holds a BS in engineering from Cornell University and a MS from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
At SpacePath, Eric will focus on the company’s continued expansion into the commercial and defence markets across North America. His appointment completes a major investment milestone into the region following a collaboration agreement with Applied Systems Engineering Inc., a pre- and post-sales service and engineering company, based in Texas.
SpacePath’s high performance uplink amplifiers cover all mission-critical segments, including mobile satellite, fixed-earth stations and military satellite communications.
