GSOA and GVF have combined to create a single global trade association, giving a stronger, single unified voice for the satellite industry, leveraging both organizations’ strengths to represent the broader satellite ecosystem, which is especially critical this year with the World Radiocommunication Conference to be held in November.

Members of GVF which were not members of GSOA will now have access to the wide portfolio of GSOA’s member benefits, and likewise, GSOA members will have access to many benefits that are new to them.
GSOA will continue its strong advocacy activities highlighting socio-economic benefits of SatComs regulatory and policy outreach regionally and globally. They will also continue the work standards and involvement with international institutions as well as providing access to courses and discounts for non-technical training SBQ (Space Business Qualified); technical GVF Training; the webinar series; and partnering with many industry events to provide the members with many positive options and increase the remits of the Working Groups.

It is anticipated that this combination will help propel further growth and bring the benefits of the overall satellite industry to the forefront.
Current members should note that Natalia Vicente and Irina Petrov will remain as the main contacts. Other questions can be directed to [email protected]. Check out GSOA website and get in touch to ensure that all the available increased benefits are being used.
All the companies that are not yet members and are involved in the satellite industry are encouraged to contact join GSOA, the association that represents the entire satellite ecosystem, from operators, satellite manufacturers, launchers, teleports, service providers, equipment manufacturers, installers, and end-users.
