SpaceX‘s launch was picture perfect today, Wednesday, May 10, at 1:09 p.m. PT (20:09 UTC) for a Falcon 9 launch of 51 Starlink satellites to LEO from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. This is the 30th launch of the year and the 190th successful landing on Of Course I Still Love You.
The first stage booster supporting this mission previously launched Space Development Agency’s Tranche 0 and one Starlink mission. Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship stationed in the Pacific Ocean, making it the 190th successful landing.
Starlink is the world’s first and largest satellite constellation using LEO to deliver broadband internet that is capable of supporting streaming, online gaming, video calls and more.
Leveraging advanced satellites and user hardware coupled with deep experience with both spacecraft and on-orbit operations, Starlink delivers high-speed, low-latency internet to users all over the world.
