Axient appoints new V.P. of the company’s Launch and Safety Business Unit

Axient has promoted Arnold Nowinski to the position of Vice President of the Launch and Safety Business Unit in the National Security Space Segment at the company.

This business unit’s team of engineers and scientists are responsible for the certification of New Entrant launch systems, mission assurance of certified launch systems, system safety at Space Systems Command, and the research and development of space technologies at NASA Ames Research Center.

Arnold Nowinski

Arnold Nowinski has more than 20 years of experience in systems engineering, program management, and business development in the DoD, Commercial, and Civil markets. He served as a Developmental Engineering Officer in the USAF for six years. He has a MS in Mechanical Engineering and a BS in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. He has served as the President of the Southern California Aerospace Professional Representatives (SCAPR) at Los Angeles Space Force Base and has been with the Axient team for more than five years.
