Ovzon has received, via their partner Intelsat General Communications (IGC), $16 million in renewed orders for Ovzon’s SATCOM-as-a-Service to the United States Department of Defense (U.S. DOD) — the various services are renewed for 12 months and will start in mid-December of 2022.
Ovzon’s SATCOM-as-a-Service combines the company’s ultra-small, mobile, satellite terminals, highly resilient and high-performance satellite networks, and service and support from Ovzon’s Network Operations Center (NOC). Ovzon SATCOM-as-a-Service delivers strategic, operational, and tactical agility to the U.S. DOD for their important and critical missions.
“The continued trust that the U.S. DOD places in Ovzon is a tremendous honor. We remain fully committed to delivering the best and most resilient SATCOM-as-a-Service solution in the market. Our relationship with the U.S. DOD is strong, and we will continue to work together to support their critical missions around the world. We are also excited about the unique, near-peer capabilities we can provide with the upcoming launch of Ovzon 3. This will further enhance mission success for this customer in a contested environment,” said Per Norén, CEO of Ovzon.
