This new SWF podcast is Part 1 of their Occasional Series on Space Sustainability. As part of their on-going effort to reach wider audiences, SWF has now launched this new, occasional podcast series.
The first series will consist of “Conversations on Investing & Space Sustainability.” Join Ian Christensen, SWF’s Director of Private Sector Programs, as he interviews current, leading experts in the realm of investment for outer space activities. He looks at the role that “space sustainability” plays in deciding where to invest resources as well and the role of environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations in space sector investing.
Episode 1’s guest is Mark Boggett, CEO and Managing Partner of Seraphim. In this conversation with Mark, recorded on August 1st, 2022, themes discussed include the contribution of ESG factors in driving investment activity; the ways in which venture capital funds can interact with portfolio companies to address sustainability; and the role of the UN Sustainable Development Goals for tracking investment outcomes.
