Ovzon has received a new order for service from the U.S. Department of Defense (U.S. DoD) through the firm’s partner, Intelsat General Communications (IGC) — this one-year order represents an expansion of the US DoD’s use of Ovzon’s global, high-data-throughput, SATCOM services.

This order will increase the U.S DoD’s existing footprint of Ovzon’s already established global services that will be empowered by the agency’s existing inventory of Communications-On-The Move (COTM) and Communications-On-The-Pause (COTP) terminals that include the new Ovzon T6 terminal. The terminal is Ovzon’s latest addition to their mobility product offerings: an ultra-small, simple-to-use, lightweight and rugged satellite terminal.
”We are honored and pleased to receive this new and expanded order from U.S. DoD. It clearly represents the next step in further enhancing our customers’ use of Ovzon’s services. Ovzon’s unique capabilities meet the advanced requirements of this important customer, providing unmatched performance, mobility, security and throughput: four key enablers that allow the US DoD to execute their global mission”, says Per Norén, CEO of Ovzon.
