NSR’s Global Space Economy Report Now Available

April 18, 2021

The NSR Global Space Economy (NGSE) report is the industry benchmark for evaluating trends and opportunities in the satellite and space markets.

NSR’s GSE report establishes the key growth drivers in this evolving sector, with SATCOM alone representing a $500 billion cumulative opportunity through 2029.

While mainly composed of infrastructure-centric revenues in 2019, the market is now shifting toward a services and software-led business model, focused largely on enabling connectivity-centric services.

NSR’s NGSE report forecasts Space Applications annual revenues set to double from 2019 to 2029, driven by “communications-focused” Applications. Likewise,17% of Infrastructure Market revenues will come from New SATCOM Manufacturing & Launches.

Across the sector, meeting connectivity needs dominates Global Space Economy opportunities. The development of a space-based, space-consumed economy is well underway, with connectivity remaining the core revenue driver. The NSR Global Space Economy report offers the “complete picture” necessary to capture and develop this significant growth opportunity.
