Symposium 365’s Digital Platform Includes Space Technology Innovation Panel and Conversation With A USAF Brigadier General

The Space Foundation will be virtually hosting Symposium 365 from April 14 through April 22. The Foundation, a nonprofit advocate organization founded in 1983, is the source for media and events in the global space ecosystem for professionals, entrepreneurs, educators and students who are provided unlimited access to the Symposium 365 Digital Platform for one year by registering at www.spacesymposium365.org/register/

The events cover a variety of issues including; the concern for the health of the astronauts; a recollection and celebration of the first human spaceflight by Yuri Gagarin and the importance of investing in the future of space; and the discussion of aerospace warfighting technologies .

The symposium’s online events include

  • April 14 — Space Technology: From Space to Earth and Back
  • April 17 — Yuri’s Night interactive virtual celebration
  • April 22 — Brigadier General Heather L. Pringle, USAF

Every year, Space Foundation hosts a celebration of the first human spaceflight by Yuri Gagarin to spotlight the importance of investing in the future of space. This year, Yuri’s Night is an interactive “choose your own adventure” virtual event. Attendance is pay-as-you-can, and registration is required. Proceeds benefit Space Foundation’s education programs.

Recent Symposium 365 Digital Platform events have included;

a panel discussion on the changing landscape of satellite market opportunities in various sectors, a New Generation Space Leaders Panel with young professional engineers sharing their work on space innovations, the first session of the “Women in Space” series, a conversation with former ESA Director General Dr. Johann-Dietrich Wörner, and much more.

All events are available for registrants to watch at their scheduled times or later on demand as desired. Symposium 365 Digital Platform also offers archived videos from past Space Symposium live events.
