As of March 1st, the space activities of Vitrociset will be integrated into Telespazio.
This acquisition will allow Telespazio to grow even further in strategic sectors such as space operations, in particular in the Galileo program, in the launchers’ ground segment, in radar and optical tracking systems and in weather systems supporting space launches, in particular for the VEGA program, as well as in engineering and operational services supporting the activities of the European Space Agency.
The acquisition of Vitrociset’s Space BU will also enable Telespazio to expand its geographical presence into countries such as Belgium and the Netherlands as well as strengthen services in French Guiana, at the European spaceport of Kourou.
Telespazio and Vitrociset had already been collaborating for years in several, significant space programs for both Italy and Europe.
