General Atomics has acquired Tiger Innovations, Inc., a company that develops spacecraft and space related systems in Herndon, Virginia.
The Tiger Innovations business will be integrated into the General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) group. Tiger Innovations, Inc.’s advancements in satellite systems and extensive experience in custom hardware and software implementation complement GA-EMS’ portfolio of advanced space systems and technologies.
Founded in 1997, Tiger Innovations, Inc. is a high technology company with a comprehensive range of experience in specialty software, hardware, and computer architecture design and implementation. The firm specializes in the application of hardware and software design for real-time embedded systems (spacecraft and long-range airborne communication and control processors), custom software product integration for multiple workstations, and the development of satellite systems and support components.
