In this expanded role, Mr. Rush will manage the day-to-day operations of Redwire while assisting the CEO and Board of Directors in developing and executing the company’s long-term growth strategy. Additionally, Mr. Rush will oversee the development and implementation of Redwire policies and procedures, integration of new acquisitions, and execution of all technical programs.

As an experienced aerospace executive, Mr. Rush has championed ground-breaking space technology development through key public-private partnerships with NASA and DoD agencies. His extensive experience in aligning business roadmaps with emerging technologies to grow nascent markets has made him a leading voice in commercial space.

Prior to joining Redwire’s senior management team, Mr. Rush served as president of Made In Space, dating back to 2015.

Mr. Rush is a representative member of the NASA Advisory Council and serves as Chairman of the Council’s Regulatory and Policy Committee. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from the University of North Florida and a Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University.

“In order to execute our strategic vision and achieve scale, Redwire requires a world-class leadership team of the industry’s best talent,” said Redwire Chairman and CEO Peter Cannito. “Andrew possesses the leadership, business acumen, and overall passion for space required to drive our mission toward transforming the future of space infrastructure.”

“I am honored to serve in this expanded role and look forward to supporting Redwire’s growth alongside this elite team,” said Mr. Rush. “Redwire’s cutting-edge space technology programs are delivering innovative solutions for our customers and are poised to unlock even greater capabilities in space.”
