Maxar Technologies collected new satellite imagery on December 6 of the recently collapsed radio telescope at the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico.
The 900-ton equipment platform that had been suspended nearly 500 feet above the ground suffered a catastrophic failure as the large dish fell after one of the remaining intact support cables broke.
