Hypernova Books Their Next Generation Small Satellite Propulsion on EnduroSat’s Shared Sat Service

November 18, 2020

Hypernova Space Technologies is ready to plan the launch of their cubesat and has booked EnduroSat’s Shared Satellite Service to fly their first thruster mission in space.

The mission is flying on a 6U CubeSat platform scheduled to launch on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rideshare in December 2021.

Jonathan Lun, CEO of Hypernova said that, “Hypernova is proud to partner with EnduroSat on their Shared Sat service. Professional, knowledgeable and efficient! We’re excited to work with them towards redefining space capabilities for small satellites.”

Hypernova’s non-toxic, non-pressurized propulsion technology is flexible and highly efficient. It allows satellites to perform complex maneuvers such as orbital keeping, deorbiting, relative phasing, and collision avoidance. While this electric propulsion is an excellent asset for any mission, it is the in-situ resource utilization that makes Hypernova get attention in the New Space crowd. The company plans to enable expansion away from LEO for the future of deep Space exploration through this innovative approach.

Victor Danchev, Mission Manager of EnduroSat “We are thrilled to offer streamlined access to Space for innovative start-ups such as Hypernova – Space is closer than you think!”
