PredaSAR Corporation’s New Chief Solutions Officer and Chief Operating Officer Effective Immediately

April 20, 2020

Two major appointments have been announced by PredaSAR Corporation (“PredaSAR” or “the Company”), which is building and will operate the world’s largest and most advanced commercially operated Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite constellation.

PredaSAR’s Chief Solutions Officer is an Intelligence Community veteran Eric Truitt, and Colonel Mike Moran, USAF (Ret), is the Chief Operating Officer both are effective immediately.

Mr. Truitt joins PredaSAR from the Georgia Tech Research Institute where, as Chief of Space and Intelligence Programs, he was responsible for developing strategic technological innovations for research sponsors in the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC). He has 20 years of service supporting the Intelligence and Department of Defense (DoD) as a Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) expert. Mr. Truitt also served as a senior advisor for Intelligence and Space technology applications.

PredaSAR CEO Roger Teague commented that Eric has a highly distinguished leadership background in rapidly transitioning state-of-the-art prototype technologies into warfighter- and commercial-ready products. His expertise in innovating remote sensing technologies, as well as in designing and delivering mission solutions leveraging spacecraft constellations, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) swarms, and scalable IoT architectures, primarily for defense and intelligence use cases, is a perfect match for PredaSAR.

Marc Bell, PredaSAR Chairman and Co-Founder added that Eric is a valuable addition to PredaSAR and CEO Roger Teague’s leadership team. Eric will provide strategic leadership to align, produce, and deliver PredaSAR’s offerings to meet the most critical needs of both their defense and commercial customers.

Colonel Mike Moran, USAF (Ret) joins PredaSAR from Peraton where, as Vice President of Space Strategies, he directed the growth strategy for Peraton’s Air Force space portfolio and shaped their broader space and cyber strategy within the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. Prior to Peraton, Col Moran spent time with Harris Corporation and served with distinction during a very successful 26-year Air Force career. He led during multiple command assignments at the squadron, group, and wing level including wing command of the Space Development and Test Wing, Kirtland AFB, NM. His Air Force career included tours in space, launch, cyber, airborne, and foreign military sales programs to include executive and enterprise leadership within Air Force Space Command, the National Reconnaissance Office, the Pentagon, and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

CEO Roger Teague commented that he couldn’t be more thrilled for Mike Moran to join the PredaSAR team. Mike has an incredible background and has built, launched, and operated some of the Nation’s most important satellite systems. He’s led teams who’ve delivered small satellite technologies, created innovative SAR capabilities, and developed integrated space strategies. Teague is confident Mike will provide strong leadership to guide delivery of compelling PredaSAR solutions across their customer base. He’s the perfect addition to their team.

Marc Bell, PredaSAR Chairman and Co-Founder added that Mike will do a fantastic job leading PredaSAR’s operations and is a valuable addition to CEO Roger Teague’s leadership team. Mike’s extraordinary depth in the space industry will be a significant accelerator to develop, deploy, and deliver advanced SAR products and services to government, military, intelligence, and commercial customers.

Moran holds multiple masters degrees including a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy from the National Defense University and a Master of Science in Systems Management and a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Virginia. He is also a Certified Information Systems System Security Professional and Program Management Professional.
