WTA Webinar: Delivering Hybrid Cloud Services

All the cloud providers offer privileged direct-connnect services to their main customers – but customers do not want to get locked into one cloud provider. That creates an opportunity for teleport and satellite operators to provide direct-connect access to multiple providers, and to integrate their own data center resources into the offering to provide hybrid cloud services. They are members of SSPI and the World Teleport Association.
A hybrid cloud architecture blends public and private cloud resources to gain the benefits of both. Teleport operators report that the hybrid approach suits their customers and their own interests best – by providing the right balance of control and confidentiality on the one hand and processing power and reach on the other. Executing a multi-cloud model, however, is difficult. That presents both a challenge to the operator and a high-value opportunity to provide a multi-cloud environment to customers.
