Customizing the ATOM BUC – All You Need to Know

Presenter: Norsat’s Chief Scientist Michael Schefter

Date: August 19th, 2020, 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM (Pacific Time)

With 40 years of experience in the satellite and microwave market, Norsat is the industry leader in engineering custom products. Whether developing custom LNBs, BUCs, portable satellite terminals, filters, or accessory products, Norsat has the capabilities and resources to design the product to fit its customers’ needs.

In this webinar, Chief Scientist Michael Schefter will lead you to customize Norsat’s line of ATOM BUCs. He’ll cover the design features to consider including mechanical and weight options, thermal management,  vibration mitigation, RF performance,  EMI/EMC, and input power requirements for different applications (i.e. COTM, maritime, airborne).

Norsat’s ATOM series of Ku and Ka-band GaN and GaAs Block Upconverters are small, light, and extremely efficient. With industry-leading size, weight, power and MIL-STD specs, these BUCs can be integrated into a variety of systems with the most stringent specifications and extreme form factors. The ATOM BUCs are ideal for applications such as Airborne, RADAR, TWTA replacement, SOTM, COTP, Portable VSAT, CDL and more.

Stay tuned and check out our webinar page. Please send your questions, comments and feedback to marcom@norsat.com.
