GVF Ground Segment: Transformational Antennas I – End of the Parabolic Paradigm?

On Thursday 30 July the GVF webinar series continues with its sixth event, Ground Segment: Transformational Antennas I – End of the Parabolic Paradigm? This webinar will be the first of two to focus on the long anticipated advent of new antenna – flat panel (FPA) – technologies and will be followed on 13 August by Ground Segment: Transformational Antennas II – Will terminals realise the promised LEO Connectivity Revolution? This topic is presented in two parts, reflecting the foundational nature of a new antenna paradigm for the future of the satellite industry.
Asking the central question “Will the antenna transformation mean the end of the parabolic as the very icon of satellite communications?”, the End of the Parabolic Paradigm? event will feature as panellists: Keith Edenfield, CTO, AvL Technologies; Bill Marks, Chief Strategy Officer, Kymeta; Alvaro Sanchez, CEO, Integrasys; and, Esat Sibay, COO & CFO, Alcan Systems.
