Infostellar awarded as a 2023 Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum

June 25, 2023

Infostellar has been selected from among hundreds of candidates as one of the World Economic Forum’s “Technology Pioneers” for their StellarStation that enables GSaaS services to be shared among many ground station owners and satellite operators in a highly innovative and efficient manner.

The World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneers are early-stage companies that are at the forefront of new technologies and innovation and are poised to have a significant impact on business and society.

As a Technology Pioneer, Infostellar CEO Naomi Kurahara will be invited to engage with the World Economic Forum, working with global leaders to help address key industry and societal issues. Technology Pioneers will also be invited to join Forum events and discussions throughout the year, bringing together leading stakeholders from the public and private sector.

This year’s Technology Pioneer cohort included startups from 31 economies, with a third led by a woman chief executive. China had the second highest representation with 12 Technology Pioneers, while the U.S. had 29 companies.

“We’re excited to welcome Infostellar to our 2023 cohort of Technology Pioneers. Infostellar and its fellow pioneers are at the forefront of innovation and disruption needed to help us solve the world’s most pressing issues. We look forward to their contribution to the Forum’s content work that brings together public and private sector to tackle these global issues.” — Verena Kuhn, Head of Innovator Communities at the World Economic Forum

“Infostellar’s driving vision is to connect Earth and space to empower the future, and our core mission is to be the most effective enabler of space business by providing the best access to satellite services. We are quite pleased and honored to have been recognized by the Forum as a Technology Pioneer. It is a great honor to represent the Infostellar team in this incredibly important endeavor. Our team looks forward to working with the World Economic Forum and the Innovators Community to enable the conditions and policies that will democratize access to space by providing reliable, flexible, scalable and affordable access to space.” — Naomi Kurahara, CEO, Infostellar
