On Wednesday, February 15th, the maiden flight of Japan’s H3 rocket is scheduled to launch from the Tanegashima Space Center located in the southwestern prefecture of Kagoshima.
The H3 rocket, which is the successor to the nation’s H2A rocket, will liftoff between 10:37 and 10:44 a.m., according to the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
Onboard the H3 will be the DAICHI-3 payload — ALOS-3 — an advanced, land observing satellite.
