ETL Systems’ Business Development Director will continue with significant growth

ETL Systems, a global manufacturer and distributor of critical RF equipment for satellite ground stations and RF components, appointed John Vesey as Business Development Director.

Mr. Vesey brings more than 30 years of industry experience to ETL Systems, having previously worked as Vice President of one of the world’s leading telecommunications and satellite component businesses, Sojitz Corporation of America. 

During this time, Mr. Vesey oversaw product development, manufacturing and operations, as well as business development and sales, working closely with industry leaders such as OneWeb, Telesat and Inmarsat.

This appointment comes following a significant period of growth for ETL Systems, which has also opened a state-of-the-art research and development center in Rickmansworth, London and expanded the manufacturing capacity at its headquarters in Herefordshire. 

When performance matters.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Vesey said, “I’m incredibly excited to join ETL Systems and looking forward to working with the team. With an ever-expanding customer base and an experienced group of in-house engineers, ETL’s status within the industry is second to none.

“Working closely with ETL’s Chief Executive Officers, Ian Hilditch and Dr. Esen Bayar, my vision is to help ETL expand its presence across the satcom, military and government sectors, strengthening existing relationships and building new ones.”

Ian Hilditch, CEO at ETL Systems, added, “We are delighted to welcome John on board as Business Development Director. This position forms a major plank of our growth strategy, taking us into new verticals and complementing the significant investments we have made in our R&D and manufacturing capability, and new products, over recent years. John’s role will predominantly cover North America, however he will also support our sales teams in Latin America, Europe and the Middle East as we look to expand our customer base and roll-out cutting-edge, new technologies.
