Spacecom (Tel Aviv Stock Exchange: SCC), the satellite services provider and owner-operator of the AMOS satellite fleet, has been awarded a multi-million contract from Get SAT to support Satellite-on-the-Move (SOTM) communication networks via the AMOS-17 satellite.

The combination of Get SAT products and Spacecom’s services will provide the customer with unparalleled adaptability for multiple mission profiles. Spacecom’s solution was selected due to its high-performance characteristics and followed a long evaluation process involving multiple solutions.

AMOS-17, an HTS satellite serving Europe and Africa, was selected by Get SAT for its optimal performance. The combination of AMOS-17’s capabilities and Get SAT’s terminals offers superior performance SATCOM, flexible solutions and competitive advantages for customers in aviation, marine and land, Communications-on-the-Move (COTM) markets.

Designed and optimized to support on the move or on the halt missions, Get SAT solution is an off-the-shelf, High-Throughput terminal, with industry leading SWaP and no trade-offs.
