INTEGRASYS LLC Is Granted A Patent For Their Satmotion API By The U.S. Patent Office

February 24, 2022

The U.S. Patent Office (USPTO) granted a new patent to INTEGRASYS LLC on the Satmotion API method, for being the only Satellite Auto Alignment and Commissioning method for Automated Antenna Terminals.

Satmotion API is the second patented technology from INTEGRASYS LLC in the U.S. — Satmotion Pocket is the product’s was the first granted patent for the company. The new version of INTEGRASYS Auto commissioning Technology has been considered by the USPTO, thanks to the Zero-Touch commissioning method, which is totally aligned with Electronically Steerable Phased Array Antennas (ESPAA) needs, providing a seamless interface and intuitive use for optimizing its performance.

Satmotion API Step by Step
Satmotion API aims to enable SATCOM services by fully automating the commissioning of services for ESPAA — all without human intervention, addressing optimal radio frequency (RF) performance, required by the Network Operations Center (NOC), minimizing interference and power management. It will also enable remote recovery in many cases, removing the need for installers to revisit the site, particularly in isolated areas such as those that are rural, desert, or high sea.

The approach is based on the implementation of an Application Programming Interface (API) software and proper logic that will be embedded in the Antenna Control Unit or in the SATCOM modem so that the antenna can access the proper functionalities for installation and startup of the services without human intercession.

Satmotion API System Architecture
INTEGRASYS main purpose is to bring the satellite Industry smart tools to virtualize the network and automate the processes to achieve a high Service Level Agreement (SLA) and enhance their customer services.
