Top Global Teleport Operators Of 2020 Named By World Teleport Association (WTA)

December 8, 2020

The World Teleport Association (WTA) has published their annual rankings for the Top Teleport Operators of 2020 — the annual rankings of companies by revenue and revenue growth are compiled by surveying teleport operators around the world as well as referencing the published results of publicly-held companies.

Robert Bell

“The Top Operators for this year really reflected the impact of the changes roiling the satellite business,” said Executive Director Robert Bell. “The majority of our global list were satellite operators, but the Fast 10 list was notable for including only one satellite operator. With businesses that are more diverse in terms of transmission methods and applications, teleport operators have been less affected by the severe capacity pricing pressures affecting satellite operators.”

In November 2021, WTA will publish its annual Inside the Top Operators report that will provide a more detailed analysis of survey results.
