COMNET Leverages SES Network’s Satellite Solutions For LATAM Services

August 11, 2020

Extending its business relationship with SES that spans more than 10 years, COMNET already provides a carrier-class managed services platform on SES-10 and uses other SES satellites to deliver reliable connectivity services to underserved areas in Central America.

The extended partnership comes under the SES Partner Programme, which recognizes partners as trusted advisors to end-customers. As a certified partner for delivering SES Networks’ Signature Solutions, COMNET will now use the expanded coverage of two satellites, SES-10 and SES-14, gaining access to dedicated bandwidth, flexibility in service design, and teleport operations to ensure high reliability and outstanding quality of service for customers in industries such as energy, agriculture, construction and government.

Executive Comments

“The partnership creates a seamless experience for our end customers and gives us the opportunity to access managed satellite services with flexibility on capacity and coverage, and a tailored network management interface to offer customised connectivity solutions that best fit our customers’ needs,” said Jorge Eskenasy, CEO at COMNET.

“This partnership will open new opportunities for COMNET and SES Networks to collaborate and provide greater benefits to end customers across diverse industries in the region, regardless of location,” said Omar Trujillo, VP of Sales for Fixed Data Americas at SES Networks. “This new agreement confirms COMNET’s trust in us as a strong partner, and we are delighted to support them so that they can continue to focus on delivering an outstanding service.”
