July 26, 2020

All appears to be progressing well toward the ULA Atlas V launch carrying the Mars 2020 mission for NASA.

The mission is set to lift off on Thursday, July 30, from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.

The forecast reveals an 80 percent chance of favorable weather conditions for launch, with the two-hour launch window starting at 7:50 a.m. EDT.

The overall probability of violating weather constraints is around 20%, with the primary concerns being cumulus clouds as of this writing.
