Astroscale Adds to their U.S. Management Team

July 9, 2020

Astroscale U.S. Inc., (“Astroscale U.S.”) has named Becky Yoder has joined the Astroscale U.S. management team — she is serving as the SVP for Finance and Business Operations as of June 2020.

Yoder joins Astroscale with more than 25 years of experience in business, finance and operational management. Most recently, she was Director of Operations for the Orbital Technologies group at General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems. Prior to that, Yoder held leadership roles in financial and business operations as CEO and CFO for Surrey Satellite Technology US. Throughout her career, she has focused on creating and leading strong organizations.

Yoder will help expand and enhance Astroscale U.S.’ business and finance operations as it engages with partners, customers and other groups in the commercial and government space and technology communities.

Since its establishment in April 2019, Astroscale U.S. has made key additions to its management team including Dr. Clare Martin, Executive Vice President of Program and Operations, Charity Weeden, Vice President of Global Space Policy, Dave Fischer, Vice President of Business Development and Advanced Systems and Dave Hebert, Director of Communications. The management team brings decades of experience in business development, operations, policy and communications in the aerospace industry. This expertise positions Astroscale U.S. to work with satellite operators, government, and regulatory and legislative bodies to meet the challenges of orbital logistics and sustainability.

Executive Comment

“Logistical flexibility and sustainability are recognized as growing needs in space operations, and Astroscale U.S. is leading the development of this new market,” said Ron Lopez, President and Managing Director of Astroscale U.S. “Becky adds tremendous leadership and business experience as we grow to meet demand for on-orbit services and logistics in the U.S., and her operations and finance savvy will help ensure that our customers and partners always get maximum value from working with us.”
