MEASAT’s VSAT Service Management Improves with DataMiner

June 2, 2020

MEASAT Satellite Systems (“MEASAT”), a Malaysian-based satellite operator, has recently deployed the DataMiner system. This was announced by Skyline Communications which provides end-to-end multi-vendor network management and OSS software solutions for the broadband and media industry.

MEASAT offers their diverse customer base services and customized VSAT satellite solutions that improve and further optimize their operational process. Naveendran Murthy, Sales Manager for the APAC region at Skyline Communications agrees saying that this is exactly why they turned to DataMiner. Having a unified network that can be managed and controlled from a single pane of glass, no matter how complex and heterogenous the underlying infrastructure, is essential in the satellite industry. With their DataMiner system in place, MEASAT can now count on a reliable solution that enables them to deliver the highest quality of real-time data sharing to support their regional customers, and in the most efficient way possible, too.

Jonathan Triboulet, Director APAC Operations at Skyline Communications agreed saying that it’s always nice to have the confidence of a customer, especially of such a reputable satellite operator like MEASAT. They do have high standards, but that wasn’t really a problem, because they knew that DataMiner would be up for the task. They’ve got a proven track record when it comes to managing VSAT networks, no matter how complex they are. A professional end-to-end platform such as DataMiner is key to stay on top of the challenges in the industry, and MEASAT very much realizes that. It’s not only about what happens in their operation today. What happens next is equally important if you want to run a reliable and successful business. And with DataMiner in place, MEASAT is sure to be prepared for change, whichever direction they will be taking their business in the future and no matter with which technology vendors they will be working.
